He Musts: Junior Girls, 2021

Every year, I have my students read the entry posted Monday night called The Princess Bride And MookDa's List. It will explain what I'm about to type here. On November 10th, after reading the previously mentioned article, everyone in my classes listed five absolutes about the person they will marry in both the positives (He Must/She Must) and the negative (He Must Not/She Must Not). So with Valentine's Day still two months away, here is the first installment, from the junior girls in my Gospels' classes. They are all are used by permission:

“He must be crazy handsome to me. “ Ella
“He must protect and defend my image and that of my family.” Piper
”He must be able to make me and my family laugh.” Emily
”He must like watching movies.” Vanda
”He must support me artistically and creatively.” Madison
”He must be mentally and physically strong. (I don’t want a pushover for a husband who cannot protect me and our possible children.”) Trina
"He must be Christian or Messianic Jew." Faith
”He must be comforting to me.” Mary
”He must be a man of God.” Cara
”He must be willing to travel.” Hannah
”He must be taller than me.” Gabrielle
”He must like my mother.” Sophia M.
”He must show that he cares.” Sophia G.
”He must be able to disconnect from technology and the outside world when necessary.” Leah
"He must be courageous and confident." Faith

”He must have a growth mindset.” Katelyn
”He must have good hygiene and properly present himself.” Piper
”He must be a leader.” Ella
”He must be good with children.” Emily
”He must be able to speak the same language as me.” Vanda
”He must be fine doing the dishes.” Madison
”He must be loyal to me- he can’t flirt with other women.” Trina
”He must be willing to go on crazy adventures in life together with me.” Mary
”He must contribute around the house.” Cara
”He must have a good relationship with his parents.” Hannah
”He must be respectful to others, especially his mom.” Gabrielle
”He must be able to drive.” Sophia M.
”He must be able to provide for the family.” Sophia G.

God bless,
