When I was little, the Harlem Globetrotters came to my hometown in Nebraska. I'm not sure if was the varsity squad or one of their other touring teams, it didn't matter. The most famous basketball team in the world was playing in my small town on the same floor I would later play. It was so exciting! The colorful uniforms, the red-white-and blue basketballs, the hokey gimmics, the hapless opponents- it was all there.And- of coursem there was one more thing; Sweet Georgia Brown.
