It has been a very long day! We made considerable progress on the house, both inside and outside. Dave and I again went through therapy with Dad this afternoon. He continues to get better and tomorrow will be allowed to take his first drink of water, or anything, in three weeks! Late this afternoon, we received a call from West County Care Center about Mom. She was having some problems so they transported her to the hospital, also to St. Luke's. The tests show she has a bladder infection and it is being treated with antibiotics. Dave and I were running back and forth between floors trying to spend time with both of them. Dad does not know about Mom; we think it's best not to tell him. She was sent back to West County late tonight and we feel blessed it was nothing more serious. Please keep both of them in your prayers, and the rest of us as well!
