We had a busy day! Dad had two doctor's appointments at St. Luke's. I dropped Dad (and Diane, the health care worker) off and went to see Mom. Actually, I went two times. Aunt Jerry had me pick out a blooming plant for Mom and I bought a red blooming cactus decorated with a Christmas balloon. (A cactus without thorns!) Dad had good reports from the specialists. He handles stairs easily as well and entering/exiting the car. The big news tonight was that Dad, with Diane's help, cooked supper! He made Beef Taco Skillet and pronounced it a keeper! Tomorrow, the physical therapist is coming but the occupational therapist has told Dad he does not need any more sessions! Thanks again for all of your prayers and Merry Christmas!
