Monday was good for Dad. He felt his therapy went well and he was greatly encouraged by the visit of his dear friends, the Ashmores, who flew in from Dallas to be with my folks. I told Dad we had our first memory verse in all my classes today, John 1:1,2. Dad mentioned a verse so I looked it up and read it to him. I can't think of a more fitting way to end my update for this evening:
"And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God."
Colossians 1:10
