Yesterday, we ate Thanksgiving dinner with Sally's family in Haven, Kansas. There was abundant food, laughter, memories, and sports on ESPN. We missed Meagan who will come home for Christmas in two weeks. Here is an e-mail with terrific photos from earlier this week. Taryn is Taryn Kritz, Meagan's first cousin, a senior in high school, and the daughter of Sally's brother, Bill, and his wife, Anita. Meagan is touching many lives on both sides of the ocean.
Taryn!!!
She is an absolutely precious little one who came to us just recently (I haven’t had e-mail lately, so I’m just now getting to share the good news!). She is a sweet, cuddly baby who lost her mom to HIV. However, she is HIV negative as far as we know. She is struggling with some diarrhea and vomiting right now, but I think she’ll get over it soon and be okay. Anyway, here she is…just as sweet as her namesake!
I can’t wait to see you all soon! I love you a whole lot.

Its sad about the baby's mother. Its good though that the baby is HIV negative. I hope the baby starts doing better. Thanksgiving sounded fun.
