He Must Not.....

Every year, I have my students read the entry posted Tuesday called The Princess Bride And MookDa's List. It will explain what I'm about to type here. On Tuesday, after talking about the previously mentioned article, everyone in my Gospels' and 8th grade classes listed absolutes about the person they will marry in both the positives (He Must/She Must) and the negatives (He Must Not/She Must Not). Here is the third installment from my young ladies. They are all are used by permission:

He must not care what I look like; how tall, skinny, short, or fat. Alexi- grade 8

He must not be abusive EVER. Jessie- grade 11
He must not be lazy. Lea- grade 11
He must not want to live in Houston. Sydney- grade 11
He must not have an earring. Elly- grade 11
He must not live at home with his parents. Mia- grade 11
He must not be bi-polar. Natalia- grade 10
He must not be rude. Krystal- grade 12
He must not like other girls. Iris- grade 10
He must not lie to me. Hope- grade 11
He must not belittle our children. Ngozi- grade 11
