More Blessings

Again this evening, I bring you bedtime blessings. These were penned by some of my 8th graders last week to their unborn child in the future based on Numbers 6:24-26, better known as The Blessing Of Aaron.

"My dear sweet child; I thank God every day for you and I pray that you should find true love and happiness, for there is no greater bond than between a father and his child. I have made many mistakes in my life and I hope that you do not make the same ones that I made in my many years. I will always love you with all my heart. May God bless you and may God bless our whole family, and let the heavens bless you with a long life. May you have many children to carry on the Pedrosa family name. I will always love you. I simply can't express my feelings for you with words alone. I promise to love, cherish and never leave you, even though I may be angry with you at times. You should know that your mother and I will always have a place for you in our hearts. Love, your father." Alejandro

"Dear sweet baby; you probably don't know how much me and your father love you. You are such a blessing, the absolute most important thing in our lives. I want you to know that I will never leave you- you are my heart and soul, and no matter what decisions you make in life, I will support you. I hope that you will let God be your shield in life to protect you from the evil in this world. I love you so much. Love, Mom.
P.S. There is so much to say but always know that I am a tear drop away ,sweet baby. I will defend you; you are amazing just the way you are."

Mary

"To my little princess: As I tuck you in at night, and kiss you on the forehead and tell you goodnight, I want you to be always thankful for your family and possessions. Say your prayers each night and love the Lord with all your heart. I'm so blessed to have you as a daughter; I can't wait to see your beautiful face in the morning. Sweet dreams, my little angel. Dad."
Jacob

"My dear child: Always know that God and our family will be there for you, even when you have a horrible day. Just know that you were given this life because God knew you were strong enough to handle it. Your mother and I will be there to support you in all you do. Remember, my child, to always try your best and NEVER GIVE UP. Chiu is your last name and never forget it. I love you with all my heart and would die for you. We cherish you with all our heart and might. You will grow up to be strong and courageous. I have faith in you. Goodnight and sweet dreams. Love, Daddy."
Justin

"My dear son: I love and cherish having you in my life. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe every day and shower you with His love. May you be accepted for who you are and not try to be anyone else. Let the Lord use you in His plans as He sees fit. I will always love you. Dad."
Alexander

"My little princess, cherish every minute of life because life is very short. Always keep God first in your life and continue to live the Christian lifestyle. Now, lay your head on your fluffy white pillow and I pray when you wake up, you may see another bright and shiny day. Get some rest, sweetie. Love always, Mommy."
