Here are a couple of news items:
Meagan has a job! Actually, she is back at her old position of English instructor at Summit Middle School in Edmond, Oklahoma where she taught before moving to Zambia. Meagan is a terrific teacher!
Congratulations to my brother, Dave, for his Wichita Collegiate boys' tennis team winning their third consecutive Kansas state championship (and 19th overall) two weeks ago. His girls' squads at Collegiate have also won 20 Kansas state titles which I would guess makes Dave the winningest high school tennis coach in the US!
One of my former players and student teacher assistants, Amber Glenn, has started her own blog! Amber just graduated from Lipscomb University and is about to begin grad school at Baylor. Amber was well-rounded as a high school student, playing softball, volleyball, cheerleading, and being elected WCS Homecoming Queen.
