Memorials

Thanks again for all of your friendship to our folks over the years and your prayers in recent days. We are requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations might be considered to the Namwianga Mission in Zambia. Dad's granddaughter, Meagan, works at this outpost for the very poor children of Africa. (Meagan is Dave and Sally's daughter and my wonderful niece.) Meagan takes care of babies, most of them abandoned and many who test HIV positive. She and her co-workers love the unloved and care for the orphaned. Meagan is making a difference in this mission field. If you are so inclined, please send your contribution, marked Namwianga Mission to:

East Point Church of Christ
747 N. 127th Street E.
Wichita, KS 67206

Our family, and the little ones in Zambia, thank and praise God because of you.

Please keep Meagan in your prayers. Because of her commitment to the Lord, she will miss being with her relatives as her beloved grandfather is laid to rest. I reprinted a devotional entry about Meagan and her mission below.

Dad also worked for years at Christian Family Services in St. Louis. He loved counseling at CFS which was the impetus for he and Mom moving to Missouri in 1985. We would also be honored if you would care to make a donation to this great mission in Dad's memory. You may send it to:
