Friday Update On Dad

Dad continues to make slow progress, according to Karis. He is having some difficulty hearing; she thinks it is somewhat related to his level of fatigue. He hears better when he is not worn out. Several days ago, Karis was speaking to the nurse quite aways from the bed about Mom and Dad chimed in so his hearing seems to come and go. Dad went through some physical therapy today and he is still being tube fed. Karis had a long conversation. He seems fascinated with what she is doing in the yard and had numerous questions. He also remembered that certain bushes had never bloomed in all the years they had lived there so he is gradually being able to recall details. Karis spent quite a bit of time making/covering paths around the house with wood chip mulch which Dad persuaded the city workers to dump at the end of the drive several years ago. Thanks for your constant prayers! Please continue sending messages to Dad if you get a chance. I am forwarding them to Karis for her to share with Dad!
God bless,
Steve
