Saturday Update On Dad

Scott, Karen, Seth, and Nathan arrived in St. Louis this afternoon and went straight to St. Luke's. Dad was overjoyed when they walked into his room. Scott says Dad looks very good; it appears his strength is returning and he is putting some weight back on. His color is also much better and he is speaking clearly. He remains very emotional and his thought process is not always consistent. He has quite a bit of memory loss from the time around his surgery which is compounded by the stroke. After speaking with the doctors, Scott feels he will continue to regain the ability to make mental connections. We were blessed that the father of our folks' good friend, Terri, began raking and cleaning up the yard yesterday. There are many trees on the property and this is a wonderful gift of service! THANKS! Please keep praying for Mom and Dad and for Dave-Sally and me to have safe trips to St. Louis.God bless,
