Dad was running a fever when I spoke to him this evening. He had an uncomfortable day, feeling very hot. (I heard the nurse remind him in the background that he had taken Tylenol.) It has not taken him long to become weary of his hospital room. He cheered up when I read him my devotional entry from last night in which my students rewrote the Beatitudes in their own words. As I said before, he just wants to go home, especially in time for his birthday on Thursday. As always, we are most grateful for your prayers for Mom and Dad!
