Dad continues to be in a positive mood. His rehab sessions went well today and he sounded good. He was further buoyed by phone calls, including two from Houston from the mothers of students of mine. This evening, he had guests he knew in the room but as is often the case, he could not tell me their names. The Lafayette church made a banner for him, signed with messages from members. Of course, he is loving that! I am again reminded of how blessed we are to have such a support group and so many to lean on in our times of trouble. We thank the Lord....and all of you!

Sounds like he's improving and has a good attitude, as he seems to. That's really nice what the church did, I'm sure that's raising his spirits!
