Dad received some very tough news this evening. Tests revealed the infection which has caused him back pain has also caused damage to his heart. More tests are going to be run shortly but the specialist feels it is very serious and may in the long run require surgery. Dad was shaken but he hasn't given up. Please continue to pray for his spirits to stay good and that he can still go home. The antibiotics he will start on could be administered at home. Thanks for your prayers!

I'm sorry to hear that, but I hope he gets better soon. It's good that he's keeping his hopes up. Happiness pumps endorphens and those are good for health!!
