Dad is again in pain tonight from his back problems but is taking medication for the discomfort. He was disappointed that Mom did not get to visit but handled it well. He was greatly encouraged by visits of church friends Gail and Kris, as well as Kris' daughter. Dad marvels at the kindness of all who have been so good to rally to aid both he and Mom. We marvel, too- thanks!

I'm sorry his back hurts, and it's too bad he didn't get to see your Mom. That's a bummer. But it's good that he still had some visitors today. He sounds like he's still doing good.
