Ike And Seth

If you are following the news, Hurricane Ike is expected to make landfall near Galveston late this evening as a Category 2 which could strenghthen to a Category 3. About lunchtime, I will go to the school building and stay there until it passes. Please keep all in the Gulf Coast in your prayers as we prepare.
Yesterday, Seth graduated from basic training in Georgia. Karen sent these pictures from this ceremony. In the top, Seth is with his graduating class. (He is second row, second from left.) In the bottom, Seth is with his lovely fiancee, Lauren. We are very proud of Seth!

God bless,
Steve

steve, I was so sorry to hear about Coach Myer's accident. Amy was able to go to camp 2 years. He did and probably still does a great job with the young people he deals with. We'll pray for his recovery. Now, stay inside--be careful while Ike is visiting. I hate hurricane season, here we get lots of rain, limbs down, poweroutages, threats of tornadoes, I just can't handle the season. Take care,my hope is it fizzles when it hits land and there are no injuries/deaths. XO Steve&Bev
