Sunday Update On Dad

Karis is in St. Louis now and will be our family representative for the time being. She brought both Bella (their new Boxer) and Sadie (their Labrador) to keep her company. Karis already is making a mental check list of upgrades she can do in the yard to make it ready to sell. She was able to visit Dad three times today. Dad is on morphine and somewhat confused but Karis says he is talkative. We knew he would be out of it for a time after this latest procedure. Karis reports that his color is good and he remains in ICU. There is no indication when he will move back to a regular room. I don't think she had time to visit Mom but Karen went on a shopping spree and bought her some Spring clothes, to be delivered by Karis. If you would like to send Dad a message, you can send it to me at steve@hawleybooks.com or karis.hawley@gmail.com. It will be several more days before he can probably comprehend any messages but we can stockpile! Please continue to keep us in your prayers and thank the Lord Karis is able to be there for her grandparents. What a great act of family love!
God bless,
Steve
