Dad was resting this evening, still sedated from this morning's procedure to clean up the pooling of blood in his lung. Cecelya was able to go in hourly from noon on. The nurse in charge of Dad was very pleased with his progress. He slept constantly but it seems that is to be expected. Cece was able to get a considerable amount of reading in while camping out in the waiting room. I also found we bonded with the other 3-4 families who shared the same waiting room for heart surgery patients. It seems easy to feel you have so much in common with strangers who simply are experiencing the same crisis as your own family. Please remember to pray for Dad to not become discouraged while he can't speak. The balloon will come out in the morning and hopefully, Dad will be able to sit up some! Thanks to you and praise the Lord for the strides he is continuing to make!
