Dad was in good spirits this evening. He slept later this morning, maybe due to his first outdoor exercise yesterday. Marilyn took him to vote in Missouri's primary and he cast his ballot for.............. John McCain. (He told me I could put that in. Dad's probably trying to influence a few undecideds. I hesitated to post this before the polls closed, not wanting to sway the outcome!) He also bought Mom a little Valentine gift, a stuffed dog. He plans to deliver it on his birthday, which just happens to be Valentine's Day. I think he misses her more every day. There was a small crisis in the misplacing of his credit card but it was found and a crisis was averted. Dad thinks the painting will start this weekend.
