Friday Update On Dad

Dad was better today. He called his physician and she put him on anti-depressants. (Dad wanted me to share this.) He does not think it will be a long-term problem and apparently neither does his doctor. Dad was encouraged by a three hour visit from a long-time friend who is going through struggles. Feeling he ministered and his wisdom was beneficial was a great boost to his morale. I guess the initial euphoria from being allowed to come home has worn off. I can't imagine what people deal with when they have similar situations but no support system of family, friends, and church like Dad has. We thank all of you!
God bless,
Steve

i'm SO glad that he finally got onto some medical anti-depressants! with all the stress on his system it surely has drained his system of all the seratone that helps balance the emotional ups and downs in our system. i feel it's important for people to know that there is no shame in taking medical intervention. after some time his body will again be able to keep up with the level and he'll be able to rely again on only his relationship with God to maintain him.
