I caught Dad just as he was sitting down to dinner with Cecelya. He has had a good day and I thought his speaking voice sounded great! Cece had located his birth certificate and wedding license, always important papers to have around! The hard part of the day was going through his library with Cecelya and deciding what he would keep and what he would give away. Preachers live by their books and many of Dad's commentaries had belonged to his father, my Grandpa Hawley. He made it through although it was difficult. There are going to be more of those painful choices for him as we prepare Mom and Dad to move to Kansas. Thanks for all the prayers!

That's good that your dad's speaking is getting better. I'm sure it would be a lot harder on you and everyone else if they couldn't actually talk and keep in contact with him. Hope he continues to do well!
