Sunday Update On Dad

My visit with Dad was interrupted- in a good way- when friends from Illinois came to the door. Dad, I think, was slowed by the cold weather in St. Louis although he indicated he felt fine. He is grieving the loss of Orville Boyher, his next door neighbor and long-time friend. When my folks decided to build their house in 1992, they jointly bought a lot in the woods with Orville and his lovely wife, Nita. Orville was a handyman who could do anything and Dad leaned on him considerably. Nita and Mom were friends, going back to the 1940's at Harding College. Please keep Nita and their kids in your prayers as the funeral is tomorrow. Thanks for always praying for us!
God bless,
Steve

PS: I have another prayer request as well. Last night, our church lost a teenager in a car accident. Brandon Brown was a wonderful young man and a great example to all who knew him. His brother, Charles, was nearly killed last summer in an accident and the family was still recovering from that. Please pray for Charles, younger brother, Bradley, and especially their mother, Beatrice, during this time of grief and loss.
