Dad was sleepy when we spoke but he felt he had a good day. I filled him in on the state of Nebraska football and the return of Tom Osborne. Dave and Sally are coming tomorrow and that lifts his spirits. I also told him Katy Watson, Dave and Sally's niece and our distant cousin, was coming through St. Louis and was going to bring him a Starbucks. I could hear his excitement through the phone! Still no word on when he can return to Surrey Place. Thanks for the prayers!

ah, yes! i meant to tell you earlier that i could almost hear the disappointment in his voice when i asked if he'd had anyone bring him a starbucks yet! :) i told him i'd be coming in sunday afternoon and see him on monday - that seemed to brighten him up a bit. i'm guessing that all the unknown is a bit of a drain on him. additionally not having therapy would be a negative for him as well.
