Dad was ecstatic this evening! Susan Jones was able to bring Mom from the West County Care Center to Surrey Place for a half hour visit this afternoon. Dad was realistic about Mom's cognitive abilities but he was so overjoyed to see her. They had not been together in close to six weeks. They sat outside and talked and he thinks she looks good. It was the highlight, I believe, of the past several weeks at least. Thanks to Susan for working this out! It gives Dad even more incentive to work hard in therapy so he can go home and see her more often. Thanks for all your prayers...and thank the Lord for facilitating this great day for Dad!

That's way cool! I'm happy your dad got to see her, it's been sounding like that's one of the things he's REALLY been wanting! Congrats!
