I'm going to forego the normal update today. Instead, I thought I would reprint a devotional Dad wrote and printed here while I was in Honduras on a mission trip in July. The date is July 8 or twenty-three days before his stroke. It talks of the love he has for Mom and the heartache caused by her Alzheimer's. His increasing inability to care for his wife of fifty-seven years has been a devastating blow. If you don't know my father, it's a peek into his soul. Thanks for caring.
