Dad had trouble sleeping last night but the other news is positive. This morning, he was able to walk three hundred steps with the nurses, more than doubling his previous best of one hundred twenty. The doctors feel the threat of pneumonia is past and are preparing to move him to another section of the hospital for more intensive rehab. Scott also reports that Dad fully understands the fight he is in to regain his speech, motor skills, etc. and is doing his best to battle through these trials. The members of Mom and Dad's congregation, the Lafayette church of Christ, have been tremendous in helping out as they always have! Thanks to all for your constant prayers!
